2023 Tundra TRD Pro - build in the works...
295/70/18 Duratracs - more mods being researched...
As I make the jump to a 37" on my TRD Pro, I'm debating between 17" and 18 " SCS F5's.... some weight savings on the 17" but it's close on caliper clearance but it does offer a D rated tire option vs the 18's being all E rated...

Anyone running 17's on D rated tires and have realtime feedback ? doesn't matter on lift or tundra spec...

    thanks

No issues with D load, stock tires are SL- standard load and SL handles everything that the Tundra can. Lots of us run E because that is what is available in the tire size we want to use.

But E and even D are really much more than what is needed for a half ton. C load is ideal for half ton trucks, SUVS etc, more heavy duty and tougher than stock yet still complaint for a less harsh ride, lighter so less performance hit.
D load will be very similar to E, perhaps a slight improvement in ride and potentially less weight than E load.

So SL, C, D E all good on Tundras.
