Anyone running the new Konig Hyper Trail wheel. I believe they also manufacture wheels for FN too. Flow Forged with a max load of 2500 at only 24 lbs.

I like that they have their version of the bead grip. The knurled bead seats on Konig HyperTrail wheels firmly lock onto your tires.

The headlight/side marker set has finally shipped. I plan on doing that LED projector light modification to it when it comes in. The LED's will come in on Monday and the Headlight set on Tuesday.

Unfortunately, the LED's that JDM Driveway suggested are discontinued. I tried googling them and using image search and still nothing other than some Alibaba links/Ebay. Hopefully the one's that I picked up will be good.

    Weight reduction, mostly rust.
I browsed those (projectors?). let us know how they work out
My lights pretty much suck, good thing I don't drive when it's dark much.

    I got you.

The reviews seemed alright. The biggest con is that the high beams just throw light instead of projecting a beam. But, with LEDS like this I doubt that I will even need the high beams.

The ones you pictured appear nearly identical to the Braveway bulbs I got, and the CO projectors others got.

If you have the ones that don't have built in resistors and also led fog lights without resistors, you may need to buy a set to plug into headlights. I just needed one. Otherwise the brights will come on instead of the fog lights.

My Amazon led fogs with the CoLight LED headlights is actually better than their bright beams (without fogs). Someday I'll figure out how to manipulate the relay for fogs anytime for an 03-06.

I just had to do some digging to see if it had resistors and it looks like it does, but there are some reviews that bring up the high beam/fog light issue that you said. So, I just put in the order for that part you linked. Thanks for that very much. You probably just saved be from a few choice cuss words and inexplicable anger.

I didn't need to use resistors on my '06. Fogs, high beams, all work OK.

That's good news. I'll try it by itself first and if it works then I'll just return the resistor pack.

Man, I do love that damned TOYOTA grille. At first it was iffy, but the more that I see it the more I like it. It's added on my "to-buy" list.

It's perfect for black trucks. But also looks great paint matched if you got the coin or the skills. The black grill on non-black trucks is ok sometimes,. Other times it looks gross

You're right. The truck color really does dictate how good it looks.

this. My nova, all the love & care to get it running great to leave me stranded twice. I broke down, but as soon as i got it started again after the 4th or 5th jump; i lost my shit. It was raining, and i burnt through a whole pair of 245/60r16’s over a coupla minutes of flat foot burnout, rev limiter wailing. I have started & driven it since, but havent registered it. I mighta been sobbing. I realized i wasnt about that life of having a street legal racecar. I wasnt gonna wanna climb through a roll cage everyday.

I was never going to be ‘icyhot’. Still haunts me. Not in a self harm kinda way, but evertime i look in the mirror, i remember when i killed that dream.

but i can still be stuntman mike. Just keep the deathproof fast stuff to motorcycles.

I still like your dirt circle track idea for the nova. Personally I think it deserves to be restored into a street able racecar. But a dirt race car is still super cool and beats sitting there lifeless. I would just hate to see it turned into a golfball after a handful of races.

Someday, I want to build a dirt track race truck. Elvira would be perfect with a bigger engine and a manual

Looking at some seats for Donut. I'd like to get some 1st/2nd gen SHO seats with the adjustable bolsters, but I seriously doubt I'd find some. Recaros and Corbeaus are way too pricey at around $1200 a piece, and Sparcos are $450 a piece. Plus shipping on those. I may just settle for these:
