No bad mouthing winter. It'll go straight from winter chill to summer swamp ass out here. Nobody wants 90degrees with 90% humidity.

It wouldn’t be so bad if the sub-freezing wind gusts weren’t out and about today.

We got lucky in that the snow was plowed before the ice rain came. Now everything is an ice rink.

A friend of mine, poking fun at me, this morning sent this to me. It's not so bad.. if you're indoors eating chicken noodle soup.

Was out on a trip and -25F killed our rental vehicle a couple days ago. The replacement vehicle was better (though transferring everything over was a little painful). Opted for an AirBnB with a heated garage that night rather than leaving it outside at a motel as temp bottomed out at -35F.

I could go either way. As long as I'm getting calls to shovel snow, let it snow!

On the other hand, when the ground dries out I can get the Tundra fixed, no snow makes buying a dump truck easier, and I have a ton of odd jobs lined up to get started on.

Over 140" here in Girard Pa., since Thanksgiving night. It has yet to melt off completely. Spring may be March 15th but that don't mean chat. Minimum 2 months until detailing season.

Meh it’s mostly just cold as hell. Northern has more snow, but not great. Last two winters here in southern mn barely any snow cover and just brown and negative temps all the time. Fun stuff. Not

A couple winters ago though it was a legit winter

Wife and I raked up a bunch of leaves and I did some car and house work (rotated tires, put up an outside light).

Spring definitely "seems in the air."

IMG_2372.jpg IMG_2396.jpg Just got back from a six day snowmobile trip, was actually bummed that it was so warm. It makes the snow rather slushy and harder to control, best is cold crisp frozen snow, one consolation at least was I didn’t get cold. Here are some photos

I made that mistakeabout 10 years ago by swimming in a reservoir that had really warm water. I ended up with a very nasty case of Girardia that lasted a little over 3 months. It was VERY painful and i spent most of my days curled up in a fetal position lying on the floor.

70° here yesterday, 35° & flurries today. ‍. Typical for this time, but I'm ready for the warmth.

Yeah I am over winter too. As I have aged my tolerance of heat, cold and being dizzy (like on roller coasters) has drastically lowered. But I REALLY hate the cold an and wet and cold is terrible. Now I know why people become snowbirds. I like seasons but would prefer to stay in the spring / autumn range…..

You're supposed to swim in the water not drink the water. Totally different experience the next day.

LOL. Sorry that happened to you, glad you made it.

I'm sick and tired of sitting in the house. Last year I painted every room inside to keep busy. I guess I could put in all new plumbing so I have something to do. Snowing again today.
