    The company that owns the "Hires" brand, also owns the A&W brand. Hires was set aside. A YUGE mistake since Hires, the "original" root beer was better than A&W. Name marketing rules though and A&W has the name recognition now. I remember when A&W restaurants were really good too. The only reason to go there now is to buy a gallon of root beer. Food sucks.
