Leer Camper Top

Is there a certain time of year that’s better to buy a leer camper top…I’m never owned or purchased a camper top and was just wondering if there are certain times of the year where they tend to runs “specials” or sale.

I see where they just had a President’s day sale mid February.

Anyone know of any upcoming sales or deals they typically have each year?

From what i've seen, they have a "special" every month, but its for different items. A certain model may be on sale, free headliner, etc. No really big discounts are my experiences.

 

Which truck is the topper for? Has to be new? Lots and lots of good deals on used toppers

 

It’s for a 2021 Crew Max Cab (5.5’ bed) 1794 metallic silver.

Im still researching. Currently between a Leer XR and an ARE CX due to the indoor options. Both seem to get good reviews (there’s always bad reviews as well) but I seem to be leaning towards the Leer due to reviews of it having a more streamlined look compared to the ARE XR.

Does not have to be new but I’m not having a lot of luck tracking down any used ones in my area. Just trying to look at all options.

Just heard back from local dealer on the Leer XR. Base price is $2,905. With the following options, install and taxes I was quoted at $6,412.97

-side sliding windoors
-Carpet head liner
-sliding fold down window (next to cab)
-roof tracks (no rack)

$3,507.97 in upgrades, taxes, install.

If the other quotes I get are in line with that I’ll just go without. Maybe I’m the one that’s off base but those seem like Crazy prices.

 

WV….will travel to any neighboring state or further (within reason) if price is right

I had a few more quotes come in so far. All lower than the first ($6,412.97). The Best quote so far has been $4,111.0.

I’m planning on calling the places on my list then didn’t respond via email.

Does the 4k mark seem reasonable or still a bit high?

 

Maybe prices have gone up quite a bit recently….
I bought an ARE cx evolve (which comes with the slam back window and 1 led interior light, headliner).
Optioned with the double outdoorsman vented windoors, drop down slider front window and roof rails (no bars).
First quote was $3300, second quote was $3100ish.

their monthly special was $150 off the cx evolve.

this was March of ‘23.

 

what state was that quote in?
