New to Toyota

Hey gang, looking to join the Toyotahood, me and my wife have been Honda forever. I used to build tooling for them so I was partial.

Anyways the ridgeline is about to be written off after hiring a deer, finally time for a full size truck now.

I was looking at sierra’s only because I love the style but I can’t fathom the amount of quality issues, and ones that cost thousands out of warranty.

I always thought Tundras were just out of my price range but the issues with the 22’ motors have killed their prices on the second hand market.

Looking at 22’ Limited and Platinums at dealerships with about 50k KMS for only $50-56k cdn. I would then get to swap motors at my convenience.

Looking to see what issues guys are finding once passing 100k Kms or 75k miles.

I rarely tow, mostly quads or small boat, cover lots of farm properties and small bushes.
