Same, the beeping if you walk away is ridiculous . Almost as bad as the f150 train horn, but at least you can turn that off with Forscan

for everyone who hates this - please submit feature request to Carista. If enough people ask then hopefully they will look into the capability

You should be running AC all the time. Summer and winter. You will still have cold and heat, but it removes moisture from your truck interior. Not sure why anyone would not run AC?? Moisture inside a vehicle is never a good thing.

AC running all the time? Not designed to do that. Fuel economy drops too when its enabled.

You do realize that the truck is designed to be in various environments and generally survive in them. (mountains, beach, etc etc)
Your house is a product of your location. Wanna build a straw hut on a beach in Alaska? Enjoy!

I do get that in humid climates that its recommended to leave the AC on all the time to prevent mold from collecting in the ductwork.
Air conditioning a 1000+ sf house is much different that keeping your truck comfortable while driving.

Fuel economy is identical, AC running or not. 40 years ago it made a difference.

AC in a house is different than in a vehicle. AC in a house is only used for cooling. In a vehicle it can be used during cooling or heating. It should always be on.

Agree. AC on all the time. Helps keep windows from fogging up.

There is a speaker you can unplug just under the driver side fender well. It stops all beeping. Hope this post helps:

I put a piece of duct tape over the little speaker, I can still hear it, but it's much much quieter.
