Load leveling trucks have an adjustable arm that determines ride height. By simply adjusting this arm up to max or close to it, you gain some lift. No more bouncing off the bump stops. It's a simple fix only requiring a 10mm wrench.

Yes, that's true. I don't tow, so load leveling isn't as critical for me, but I'm sure it's nice to have.

One advantage of the Eibachs suspension I got is if for some reason I decide to do some off-roading, I can do it without worrying about beating up the fancy and expensive AVS system. If something breaks it'll be easier to fix too.

The bottom line is that AVS trucks are unicorns, I couldn't even get any Tundra without paying above msrp back in 2022 let alone an AVS Tundra. It seems that it's still very hard to get b AVS now too.

    Somehow…
I got my non hybrid 4x4 Platinum in May of 2022 with the power running boards, 10” HUD, and AVS + Load Leveling… for $65k

Got 73k miles on it now and still love it.
