ive got a 2015 that came with the stock halogen lights, i got a good deal on some 2018+ factory LED headlights, i ordered a harness off Amazon but in order to use the DRL feature i need to do a tap a fuse, i spent a good hour or 2 looking for fuses that would work and that arent "hot" all the time that way it doesn't kill my battery, i have a auxbeam switch panel that already uses the ignition fuse, wondering if theres another fuse i can tap that someone else has tried or possibly needing to get a new headlight harness. any help or input is appreciated thanks IMG_3743.HEIC.jpg

I did a quick look and didn't see any fuses in the engine compartment that were just on with the IGN.
There are probably some in the fuse box under the dash, radio, etc..

There is a DRL feed under the dash.
The wire goes from the ECU to the electronic flasher.

There is a grey wire that goes from the J3 connector of the ECU to the J29 of the electronic flasher.
There may be more than one grey wire in one or both of these connectors, make sure you get the right pin number.
You could tap into it for your DRL feed, although it would probably turn off with the parking/headlights being on.

You could tap into the parking light feed for your low DRL at the headlight.
These DRLs are bright at night.

    ECU
It will be in Pin 8

    Electronic flasher
It will be in pin 5

The LED DRL stuff in the diagram doesn't apply to your truck.

interesting ill have to take look at this, ill probably message ihacker i believe is what his name is and see if i could upgrade my harness without having to use a tap a fuse, might make life easier, last thing i would want is to mess some wiring up, but i appreciate your feedback thanks!

You should have the same amber DRL on your stock headlights that I had.
I don't think the 2015 had the white strip on the bottom for DRL.

I liked the amber DRL and didn't care for the bright upper and lower white LED strips of the OEM LED headlights as DRLs.
@iHacker made me a plug and play harness that kept my amber DRL and then with the parking and/or headlights on, the white strips came on dim.

No extra wiring, no repinning of the connectors
If that interests you tell @iHacker you'd like the 1lowlife setup.

Personally I would pull that Amazon harness and get the @iHacker harness. It is plug and play....and flawless- works as designed.

I just installed Vland headlights and it had me pull one fuse and install their tape a fuse. I’ll go out and look at it here shortly and let you know which one

Is this diagram not correct for what’s in the engine bay fuse box/not ignition?
