Looking to see if anyone has feedback between the two as a iplot my build... not looking for LT, jsut better handling and capabilities to adjust rebound etc... I will be adding weight on both ends ( Decked setup / bed rack and front bumper winch... and jumping to 37's on SCS's.... truck is a dead stock 23' TRD PRO...

I had a well built 200 series that I did Icon CDC's and Tundra arms etc on - love that rig and it rode wonderfully... I've had ADS and Kings on 80 series builds and liked both - albeit an uttterly different suspension and form factor / speed capability. And on our German offroad rig I find I'm utterly amazed at the relatively Cheap Koni Raid's compared to the Fox setup I had on it initially...

Love some real world feedback. The rig is used now as DD and for work travel, and will be mildly off-roaded, fireroads, trips to CO, MT or AK hopefully etc....

As @Tundra234 graciously pointed out, I'm happy to help get you set up with a proper setup for your build. Feel free to shoot me a message, or give me a call whenever at 406-936-0206. We're in MT so I'm well versed in the terrain you're going to be on as well!

Here's my most basic guidance when it comes to building out suspensions (for you and others who might wander in here) -
    • Go-Fast = Progressive Valving Profiles: King, Fox, ADS, etc.

    • Overlanding/Weighted Builds = Digressive Valving Profiles: Icon, Bilstein, Eibach, etc.

    • Stock Daily Drivers/Unloaded Trucks = I still bias to a digressive shock due to its resistance to body roll, tight driving characteristics on the highway, ability to maintain composure on wasboards as well as that ONE big pothole, and ability to still tow/haul with ease. That said, some people want their truck to ride like a car. A linear suspension such as Dirt King and Elka can slot in here. They'll make that little pebble in the road feel less significant than an Icon shock, but I've found that they get spongy sooner than I would like when the speeds pick up.

I have a 2024 tundra Limited with the trd off-road package. I installed the stage 5 icon kit (https://www.cspracing.com/icon-k53195t/icon-k53195t/) and added icon 1.25 triple rate coil spring kit. Im running Toyo AT3 35s and really happy with the setup so far.
