5.5 months after I was offered $38,000 for a trade in on my truck I sold it to carmax for $45,000. Had absolutely zero interest on Facebook and through friends at my list price of $49,000.

had 23,002 miles when I sold it.

You are correct. Was a comfortable ride but really had zero fun to drive factor. It served its purpose but was time to move on. Just disappointed it didn’t hold its value like I expected.

Trucks aren’t meant to be a thrill to drive.
When I need excitement I drive my GRC.
    Congrats OP

Funny thing, I think my Tundra is fun as heck to drive. All sorts of neat techno gadgets all over the place. I see out everywhere clearly, it accelerates awesome (for a truck).

I guess if I wanted to have "more" fun, I'd get my 70's muscle car out and rip some if needed that badly.

Needless to say, we all have our our niche and this wasn't yours. I'm glad you were able to move away from it and wish you well in your next adventure.

M4 and Tundra make the perfect combo IMHO

Nice! Congrats on the sale. Enjoy the WRX. I had a 2015 WRX limited (stage 1) totaled by hail, replaced it with a 2017 STI limited then our family vehicle was in an accident, got a downsized replacement and I ended up trading in the STI for my Tundra in 2018. No regrets but I miss rowing gears, auto crossing, and cruising canyons on the weekends. Sniffle. Have fun. Make good choices!

I bought a new 2011 M3 I'm Germany. It was a blast there. Brought it back to the states and it made a terrible Colorado vehicle. Been a truck guy since moving to the state. Having fun getting out into the mountains.
