As the 10' bed continues to be built, we need a thread for those who have a true long bed Tundra.

There are a few posts of the camper tops available here, but not enough long bed examples.

    For a start - before with a stock 2018 SR V8 4wd

10', Is that a diagonal measurement with the tailgate down?

There is nothing more rare in all of trucks than a 8-foot bed Tundra. The fact you have nearly 2,000 lbs payload I am sure is nice.

That is 16' all day.
These are real concept trucks though.
RAM BFT concept and RAM 5500 long hauler. Both would've come with 10' bed and over 2 tons of payload

Personally, I think the BFT is a damn good looking truck

Just do like me, have the rear sofa crewmax cab and build yourself a 42" or so hitch cargo basket with trailer lights. It's almost like a second truck bed for me. My Trail Ed has a 48.5"x 66" bed, my hitch basket is 42" x 60". Like a trailer without the storage or maintenance issues.

Just for the record, it's 11' 3" diagonal with the tailgate down, so there.

I laughed at this much harder than I should've. LOL

Also: this thread makes Scarlett feel inadequate. Under 7' with the tailgate down, might as well be a station wagon.

I'm regretting not getting the long bed. This thing is hard enough to park in town as it is, but the bed space would sure be nice. 6'5" isn't much if you want a toolbox too.

Turning radius matters quite a bit guys. Trust me the hitch basket or a hitch bed extender for when you need it are both great options. Hell, I have two convertible hitch bed extenders and a front receiver. These convert to an upright position and I have a headache rack for center load support. So, my short bed crewmax can and has hauled 24' LVL beams without a trailer. With a double hitch sleeve, I can have the hitch basket and upright bed extender for overhead loads simultaneously. Very convenient and affordable.

I sure wish the shell from my 08 fit my 21
I back in all the time in parking lots, way easier. I am an old fart and use my mirrors more than the camera.
    Old habits.

I've destroyed two side mirrors while using my camera. Using the camera is a habit I need to break. Cameras sure are great for backing up to trailers though.
