So I'm kicking around the idea of adding a roof rack to my truck. Is there a factory crossbar option that could be added or is this a total aftermarket situation? I've got a Yakima Loadmaster basket already I'd like to be able to sit on top of my truck but no rack to sit it on.... Ideas?

i don't think tundras ever came with factory racks. probably an aftermarket-only addition. get a front runner rack and be done with it.

I believe it’s total aftermarket. I went down this road a few years ago and gave up. Some have added a roof rack but it requires drilling into the roof (very close to the air bags).

There was one no drill option that relied on clamps that installed in the drip rail and glue if I recall correctly. I believe it was a company called spider….

the only thing I ended up considering were cross bars with pressure clamps in the door jam. Not sure if that would hold a basket securely enough though….
