So then tap into the parking lights..
I did with my grille lights, no relay is necessary, they won't draw much power.
I did put a very small inline fuse as well as a Deutsch connector in case I need to pull the grille.
When the parking lights are on, your grille lights will be on.

Diagram calls them the side marker lights.
    Violet wire is hot.
White with black stripe is the ground.
Same on both sides, which ever is easier to access, but you'll need to pull the headlight.

Kinda depends on if he has OEM LED or halogen headlights.
The DRL is wired differently or at a minimum has different connectors.

Why would anyone only want the grille lights on during the day and not at night?
Mine are off during the day, on the DRLs are on.

    Halogen * 36 - A10 and A11 connector
    OEM LED *37 - A58 and A59 connector
On both the red wire is the DRL and the violet wire is the parking light

Or just avoid this BS and use the parking light circuit.

Check the build link in my signature.
Know that on the LED headlight trucks, tapping the DRL circuit can cause issues. The ECU doesn’t like seeing more load there than it is programmed for.
As for “parking lights” I don’t think I’ve ever used that setting…ever.

With the switch pro (same could be done with auxbeam or spod), I’ve got a trigger connected to an IGN fuse tap. Then certain lights (like my S8 backlights) are connected to one of the switch circuits and it is programmed to come on with IGN. But I can still manually turn them off if I want.

Shit, I have an LED headlight truck. I really didn’t want to hook them up to a switch so is there another wire you’d recommend tapping into? I don’t care if they’re always on either tbh.

I just don’t know much about car electronics and I have no idea what you’re referring to with the switch pro stuff haha. I’ll do some googling tmw at work

Long shot ask here, but have a 2024 SR5 with PVM. Any ideas if there is a controller in the TRD models that makes the MTM view available? Have all the cameras and installed and MTS selector, but can’t figure out how to get MTM to populate. It may be software, but figured you experts may at least know what is controlling the PVM, and therefore maybe the MTM. Appreciate any direction :)
