I read those recalls, and asked my friend about them. Apparently, they don't include all 1500s. He's the type guy who stays on top of things like this, so I trust his information is accurate.

Regardless, every time I'm in his truck, it makes my '23 Tundra feel "plastic-ish" for lack of a better term. My 2008 and 2015 Tundras never gave me that feeling.

Since I am new to it, I would be out of place stating my opinion. However, I will be interested in seeing and looking at my truck.

Cummins, big block chevys and on and on and on... all having hydraulic roller failures. I do think there are design flaws in some engines that don't HELP the situation- like the Cummins block which they have now gone back to the 2018 and earlier blocks, for the 2025s.

Im liking your post but I dont like it. At all. My 6.4 Hemi did that at 4300 miles. Ram wouldn't fix it since there wasn't metal in the oil screen. Basically, they admitted the problem was there but they wanted to engine to be full of metal before they'd replace the long block, instead of just swapping lifters and cam.........
