68 yr old female here....new to tundra as of 0ct'23...and new to 4wd, after owning a '99 silverado for 20 yrs
Shes a decked out girl i bought used(ex military owned i was told with a Punisher grill and skull and crossbones on front sides but who knows)...2013....and lovin it even tho I have to climb in! and everything's been cool til last fri otw back home
Busted my tailpipe on my dirt road close to home...stopped. went to the rear. saw what happened and growling expletives..drove slowly home while pipe drug the dirt (maybe a city block) and parked her.
My pond neighbors to both sides...nice ol guys...came over sat morn and got under truck to see what kinda mess i made. well somehow I wrapped/bent the "broken at muffler" pipe back under the hoghead(?) till both ends facing rear. while steve is sawzalling the pipe at bend so we can pull it out from under, he says "ella you also somehow bashed up your "blah blah" box cover(maybe some kind of junction box IDK I havnt gone back under to really look))...
more expletives as i got under truck to see ...and yea its got a few hits to it tho i dont understand how but they said its prob fine
Anyway...thanked the guys...put my tools up and I got in truck to reposition it and to see how much louder it was til I can get new pipe installed and I now have a flashing 4HI 4LO light ....an ABS RSCA light and a skiddin warning light(?)

After my "way too long get to the point story", here is my query: Can I drive my truck to get pipe fixed with the 4HI 4LO light flashing that indicates some kind of 4wd button or switch or whateve problem my book says it has engaging 4wd??? And did i mess something up in that lil box thats causing all these lights? or is it a coincidence??? I have not engaged 4 wd and my dash says its still on 2wd and my very ignorant non mechanically inclined mind does not know what to do and I dont have anyone to ask but dont want to mess anything else up since im on SS and still making payments on this truck!

There are some sensors at the rear wheel backing plates. Sounds like you damaged one. No big deal
You may see it hanging loose or its not all the way loose but start there.

I would say yes. I hit some crap on the freeway and the light show came on. I drove another 50 miles home.
You don't want to make it worse either though so do make sure it is not hanging by the sensor cable.
Mine was cracked and I siliconed it back in place, didn't even replace it.
