I was doing some work on my truck today had my center console torn apart. After putting everything back together I get a message saying my electronic parking brake isn't working (see dealer). My first thought was that I missed a wiring harness to the auto brake switch and pulled the dash back apart. It was in fact connected. I unplugged/plugged back in and still have the error message showing up. I then disconnected the battery to see if it would clear the error but no luck.

My next thought would be the fuse. However, finding a fuse for the electronic parking brake doesn't seem to exist. Does anyone know what fuse that would be? Or ideas on what may be happening to cause this message?

    Too many, but not enough....
How long did you leave the battery disconnected?

Probably should have disconnected the battery before you disassembled the console. I recently took mine apart to add the NSV dual charger & the instructions noted in BIG letters, disconnected battery before you do anything. I know it's to late now, but that might be why?? Let us know how you get it cleared.

At least 10 minutes. Was trying to figure out how to tap on a power wire for my new audio system.

So moral of the story is, before doing anything that may require unplugging a wire, disconnect the damn battery!
