Hello, I would really appreciate some help with sub box dimensions. I think a Tundra box would fit in my older Ford pickup. I really want a ported box. These are the boxes I have found so far listed below. Right now I have 3 JL audio 10's and my box is 7 inches at the bottom and 3 inches at the top 15.75 inches tall and 48.75 wide. The original bench seat worked well but the new seat with head rests, air lumbar doesn't go back all the way. So I need to get slimmer at the bottom. I can go higher and wider but the higher I go the slimmer it needs to get as well. I run and epicenter and an older Soundstream Reference 700s amp that has plenty of power.

I may be upgrading to a single amp at some point like a multi channel JL to clean things up. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I really like this and would love the dimensions if someone has purchased it. It looks to be the smallest I have seen by photos. Nobody will give the dimensions!!! JL support, Crutchfield etc... Pretty expensive but I think it would be worth the money and maybe even 2 would fit but, I really want to go ported this time around.

Hate to go back to 2 10's but with the new sub technology maybe it wouldn't be to bad. The cab of a pickup is terrible anyway for sub sound quality.

No, I really want to purchase something. I started doing subs 38 years ago in my pickup, I have had just about every combo in there. My favorite was a single ported 12 I built for a friend I tested on my front seat for a week or so. I really just want to buy a pre made, throw subs or sub in and be done. I will check out the link you sent. With the room I have I can pretty easily get 1 sq/ft of air space which calculates out perfect for a ported box with a shallow mount 12. I love the look of the wedge jl box but 1400 bucks and sealed. Fox acoustics has awesome boxes but won't give me any info and said they are made for a tundra, not a ford so II can't use them. It's a box, you can put it where ever you want if it fits. Anyway, I just need to find people that have purchased to see if they will fit my application.

What year model Ford do you have? Have you checked out these guys, yet? https://www.supercrewsound.com/
They seem to cater towards the Ford people a little more.

If your current box is only 7" deep on the bottom and I understand you correctly that you need to have a box that is even smaller in depth at that dimension due to a different seat set-up, then the Q-Power box doesn't appear to be able to fit as they show it being measured at 9.5" deep at the bottom. I'm not sure what the FoxBox's bottom depth measurement is, but I assume it will be greater than 7" as well.

Hopefully somebody somewhere has purchased one and will post the dimensions at some point. I need to see if Crutchfield does free return shipping. They said they don't get those in stock ever so they have no way to measure them but I can order it and return it with no problem to check it out. Has to be a lot to ship but if they pay the return shipping I will just do that. Unbelievable nobody has seen the posts and replied with an actual size yet after a couple weeks. The size of the boxes are listed for every other box they make, strange they don't post it for this specific box and will not tell you the dimensions of the
    SB-T-TUNDCMAX/13TW5v2

I may just go with a 12TW3-D4 and build my own box again. The 12TW3-D4 driver has a 3.5 inch mounting depth and has ported box information listed on JL's site with an internal volume of .95cu/ft, I have enough room to pull that off and the port configuration shouldn't be to bad to integrate. The 13TW5v2-4 on the other hand says ported enclosure not recommended. It would be so nice to have the 2.65 inch mounting depth.

Knowing all this info so far leads me to believe that $1400 dollar stealthbox would have to be close to 1.5 inches at the top and maybe 4 - 5 inches at the bottom looking at the side photos and comparing other box photos that do have dimensions listed. With tax and shipping that is an insane price! It is so nice looking though and having a bunch of space behind my seat would really be nice as well and the installation would be minutes. On the other hand I have always wanted a ported box back there and I think I could achieve that with the 3.5 inch mounting depth of the other sub. It would be more time but probably a 3rd of the cost.

This box I attached a photo of is 6.5 inches at the bottom so the Tundra box has to be smaller than that comparing the photos.

In the second photo out of the install PDF that has super low quality photos you can see the total distance between the back panel of the vehicle and the seat mount. The sub box is only taking up about 3/4 of that space. The Terminal cup mount on the box is also super blurry but those are usually around 3 inches and there isn't a lot of room on each side of that.

At some point I will get it figured out.

Did you ever confirm the dimensions of this Stealthbox?

No, still no answer from anyone that has purchased one. Crutchfield said I can purchase it and then return it if it doesn't fit but I don't want to mess around with that and I would probably have to pay shipping. I have contacted every company that says they sell them as well as JL audio and no company has ever had their hands on one, JL won't give dimensions. Crutchfield says the same thing, they don't stock them so they can't confirm the dimensions. I tried this Tacoma box building place in Texas that was really promising, boxes look awesome, called them and they say their boxes won't work in anything but a Tacoma, will not give dimensions. You could get one of these boxes and install it in a Chevy Suburban and it will not work because it isn't a Tacoma, will not function in any other vehicle! People are just 100% strange! How do they work in their showroom? I live in the middle of bfe, the 2 towns that have a stereo shop don't have any information or anything in stock. I am waiting till I go on a trip to a larger city to see if a shop there can help me out. I am looking at a Hertz sub now because I was able to get a NOS amp JL Audio XD1000/5v2 to power my entire system and the sub output is 600w at 2 ohms and only 400 at 4 ohms. I also picked up a new Epicenter micro, can't wait to try that out. The sweet box I want the dimension of here only comes in a 4 ohms and would work with this amp and be right at the top of the power ratings but, another 200watts with a 2 ohm setup would be stupid to not take advantage of. I can't find a shallow mount JL sub that will handle that power. Hertz subs look really nice and have great power ratings. Hertz also makes a prebuilt box but it is square and I don't think I have the 5 inches at the height behind my seat it requires. Still need to get my current box out and get some behind the seat measurements, just been way to cold this winter so far. I really hope to find something pre-built that looks really nice but I may just have to build something, I will keep looking though.
