Have any of you noticed peculiar shifting in gears 2-6? it's almost like it shifts then a split second layer the gear locks in solid.

Another way to describe it, the rpms drop like a normal shift, but then a split second later they drop slightly more accompanied by the feel of a firm gear shift.

Not sure if this is normal or if I should be worried. 900 miles on a 2025 gas Tundra.

    Edit:

Does the TC lock in lower gears on this truck?

It only behaves the way I am describing under light to moderate throttle. Under heavy throttle it shifts like I would expect.

I’m no expert but the Tundra has to adapt to your driving style. It may seem funky in the beginning but should smooth out as you rack up the miles. This is my first ten speed and I can hardly feel the shifts. I’ve got 10K miles.
