    Agreed.

The fact that somebody else posted it and it's burned into my brain and misery loves company? Those are the facts.

Helped my MinL buy one about 14 months ago. The Limited hybrid. She’s been a Honda fan for decades and liked the Rav4 over the CVR.

It’s been a great car for her. Mostly city driving. She fills the tank once a month, but I think she only drove 5-6k the first year.

When I retire I will probably get one. The fit and finish is great and it is no longer a loud, “lifted” econo-box.

So, my mom has been looking for a new vehicle recently and we actually test drove both a newer rav and a new Crosstrek and the whole family agrees that the Crosstrek is better than the new RAV. The one and only way the new rav felt better is the powertrain (The powertrain on the Crosstrek doesn't feel bad at all, The rav just feels quicker and who doesn't prefer a traditional automatic over a CVT) for being one of the highest selling models in America the front was surprisingly narrow and uncomfortable to the point where I couldn't wait for the test drive to be over. The back seat was better but still nothing special. The Crosstrek front is far more comfortable and the rear is surprisingly roomy, we put the driver seat all the way back as far as it could go and I could still sit behind it without issue. Also, the Crosstrek was very quiet and felt very solid and composed.

Good, so not too much has changed since 18. We drove my moms through the SD hills and was shocked at how it griped the road and sipped fuel. My wife still loves her xB, which is paid off and grts great mileage. So it will be interesting to see how this goes.

Good to know. When I almost bought a CT years ago, I went with the CX5 because the CT was amazing, but when I went to get out my back popped. The CX5 sits higher and is rated "best mid SUV for big guys" in the UK. No regrets.

That said, the CT handled great, was quiet, had some decent features.. I remember hating the cup holder placement and the physical key. But I am sure a lot has changed since the 18 models too. That said, it was gutless... Actual dog shit gutless which was a major concern for the highways in Texas.

I will make sure we keep this on the list when its time to shop! Thank you!

As of this year many of the Crosstrek trim levels come with the 2.5 engine which makes a noticeable difference versus the 2.0 that you drove it with

I still trust you. I just think tuxmat needs to reassess for the refresh on the F150.

My wife went with the Forrester, the 24 Crosstrek didn't have the 2.5 as an option. You can definitely tell the difference.

Find me a brand new 2019-2021 Crewmax Tundra in Cavalry Blue, Army Green, Cement, or Solver Sky metallic and I'm on board with this idea.

or mom lives with us and has a 2019 hybrid limited. Its been a solid vehicle.
Road noise is a bit noticible, front seats are a bit narrow, HVAC could be a bit warmer on -30 days but it never feels cold, rear power hatch had some issues that toyota resolved even past warranty, rear doors seem to hold water after constant rain but are easy to drain(assuming this has been addressed in production), headlights seem to offend other drivers, trailer hitch on limiteds is an expensive touch due to foot swipe rear hatch thingy….

other then that is has been great. We just put $$ down on an adventure model as it should tow our little camper with ease.

    Me: Goodnight.

    Brain: Hey.

    Me: No.

Brain: Remember that weird pain earlier? Pretty sure it was deadly.

Me: It was just a cramp. Go to sleep!

Brain: ...But what if it wasn't?
