    Hello All,

New member here and first time owning a Toyota. I purchased a 2015 Tundra Limited a week ago and slowly fixing some things when time allows. I restored the headlights and the instrument cluster plastic glass as both were faded or had scuff marks all over. For the instrument cluster, I only removed the glass and the cluster stayed in the dash. I used Cerakote Ceramic headlight restoration kit and the results were amazing. Pictures of before and after attached.

    Thanks!

How much work was it to remove the instrument cluster glass? Did you need to remove portions of the dash to get to it?

There are screen protectors that you can install to prevent future scratches.

The charcoal grey bezel has to come out.

You'll have to remove driver's door side vent, lower trim on both sides of the steering wheel and the grey cluster bezel.

Who sells them? I have a roll of PPF which I was thinking of using at first, but since this restoration kit came with a ceramic coating, I didn't use it. I hope it will protect it for a while.

I was going to buy the instrument cluster protector until I saw the price.

Yes, I just saw it too... it's crazy. The restoration kit I used was under $20.

I used a plastic polish to remove my scratches and now only clean with a micro fiber cloth. If it scratches again I’ll polish again.

This cluster lens fix is a great solution to a popular question here. Welcome to the forum!
