    Hello everyone,
just got word that Toyota has approved to teardown the engine and replace cylinder head on bank 2. Parts are on order but no idea of time for arrival. so sit and wait. I will update as this progresses. Only 4 months old.

Welcome from LV ... can you provide a debrief of symptoms your truck was having?

So it must be a cylinder head issue and not the crankshaft bearing issue from the recall?

I know you probably don't have any more information, so we will sit and wait like you have to.

    Very disappointing to hear.

    Hi everyone,
Symptoms before this happened. Went to an appointment early Tuesday morning got there a little early Saturday with the truck idling for about 5 minutes started to idle a little rough didn't think much of it. Came back out and started it up then it flashed 6 error codes and would not release the parking brake.it was stuck. Had it towed to the dealer.
