My 2024 1794 LE has better sound than my 2023 did, seems more focused and bass is better. I wanted to see if lowering the noise floor would help the sound without upgrading speakers, subwoofer or amp. My local shop put a whole box of BAM XL in my truck, inside all 4 doors and the rear bulkhead. Double layer in the front doors. The truck was already quieter than the 23, and now at another level. Less road and wind, tire etc...and the music comes from a blacker quieter background. The noise floor has to be at least 3db down, and no buzzing or rattles. The bass is tighter and you can hear more distinct bass notes and kick drum. Even Rage Against the Machine hits harder. Before the doors vibrated pretty bad, now just barely. Definitely worth it IMHO. Also I checked and there is a TSB for the subwoofer in '22 and up JBL systems up to very early '24s by vin...my old truck had the old part my new one the updated Sub. Both Sequoia and Tundra are involved. Symptom is subwoofer buzzing, supposedly the original cones are weak and can't handle humidity well. The new ones are improved and I can hear the difference.

Interesting - I've picked up a 23' Pro and it's noisy and more rattle prone then my old 97 FJ80 ...... so like the 80, thinking I'll have it it with some rattletrap and loaded foam one the weather clears up....or may sub it out to my local shop...

Did you have it done at a stereo shop? One thing I noticed last year was after the head unit update, sound seemed better. Will have to look into that TSB, did know about that.

Also to the second poster, I have a 23 Pro & it is definitely noisier in general than I would like. Had my dealer look into a couple noise issues when I had it in for other recalls, ‘couldn’t replicate’ either & they drove it for like 30+ miles testing everything & checking on noise complaints…they are so obvious that I’m going to bring them up again when it goes in next.

Sounds like your PRO has the old woofer...T-SB-0026-24 Subwoofer Rattle or Buzz Noise for 22-24 up to certain vin# BTW all settings are centered for audio speed level off. That seems to help too, as well as fake engine noise off courtesy carista.
Yes my guy that does all audio and tint on my stuff: Ray at Imagine Audio in Cherry Hill NJ. The pic if you google it there is a big difference in the driver...no W7 but hey now!

Thanks for the TSB# Seems like even if you aren’t having the buzzing problem, the woofer will be of better quality & move more air as it’s intended to do…thank you for the heads up. Hopefully they will do the TSB even if they ‘can’t hear’ the buzzing. I will get mine into the dealer & have them look into that while they’re checking some other things…then will call around to some audio shops. Probably better to have things stock before having dealer look at anything sound/noise related.

I did turn off fake engine as it did seem to compete with the audio/add noise in being that it comes through the speakers. First thing I did, & do if I’m in a rental or my Mom’s vehicle is checking audio settings…definitely agree center it out, turn off all speed related stuff, no EQ or flat to start with & adjust for slightly from there.
