If you're just limbing things up to lessen pinstriping, a battery-operated chainsaw works great. Especially if you already have batteries for other power tools.

Yes a battery powered saw is high priority before our next trip out.

I’ve just been taking my 24” Rancher lol

Ugh, ya'll are BAD! I now have the Stillen intake coming and my OTT tune on Saturday. Wife is departing to visit our son for 10 days starting tomorrow, so I'll be bombing this thread with updates. On the list are:

Hot Tails as well as 3rd brake light, front amber turn signals and parking marker lights
Sound deadening (starting with back wall and see how far I get with the one box I have)
    OTT tune
    Stillen intake install
    Wash/dress
Interior detail (dogs going with me to NC this weekend)
Fix the arrangement of RCI skid engine to trans (engine is above trans, so if I were to scrap, it'll hit the leading edge of the trans, vs the trans plate being sandwiched)

I'm sure I'm forgetting more here.

Did I mention ya'll are bad? :spending:

With some custom center cap project action I’ve made myself some faux Rays TE37 wheels out of my BFDs. Perhaps cheesy to some, but I love it. It was more about wanting a nice looking cap that didn’t just say TRD or something than it was about trying to look like real Rays. Either way, I'm just not paying 4500 for a set of legit Rays! Always loved the BFDs but they never offered a center cap I liked for the 5x150 fitment. I’m happy with how it turned out.

I installed a couple of days ago and it works but it doesn't start too smoothly. Took a good 5 seconds to start today.

Tell me how yours starts up after the install.

    Unfortunately I live 21 HOURS away! :(

    IMG_7112.png

After adding the 35s I'm chomping at the bit to get the regear done, plus I'm getting an extremely annoying gear noise at 25-45 mph coming from the front end as well as a clunk moving from a dead stop from the rear.

She just hit 280k miles today, so I think she's due for some driveline attention

Installed a forward facing camera. I use it for parking and to see how close I am to objects that are lost under the hood.

Picked these up for my tractor today. Should have them installed in the next couple days. Not for the 2.5, but figured some people might be interested in the light spread. I'll post a few shots when I get them on in the dark. Yes from HF, but supposed to be pretty good, and designed to compete with the Baja designs (which I am sure are better, not trying to compete with anyone, its for a slow moving tractor) IMG_1541.jpg

I’d like to see some light shots with those HF lights as I’ve been considering a set of them as well. I’ve read some good reviews on them and they seem pretty good for the price

From what I've seen I think they would do well on one!

I'll try to get a bunch of shots. I am hoping to get them on over the weekend and then can get some up. I am going to do it without the harness and use the wires on the tractor already there I think. So I won't have the high/low. Just going to connect the high wire.

That is a great idea. I've got a couple cheapo light bars I've picked up off of used cars that I've been thinking about putting on the loader, as it obscures the factory lights so badly on my tractor. But 2 sets of those pods would probably do the trick.

100% on that loader issue. I cannot see anything with the lamps that come on it with the loader in the way. I use a push box on the front, blower on the back. So my entire headlight area ends up covered. I have a cab, because I got it mostly for winter work, so I have some mounting areas(where the factory halogen that barely do anything go), but I've seen a lot of good mounting options on tractorbynet.

I'm putting them on this morning I think, so I'll get photos posted tonight.

They come with an amber cover as well, which would be nice for me in snowy conditions, I'll put photos up with the covers and without.
