    Good morning to the fine members of Tundras.

    More snow this evening. High 5 myself. Maybe I won't be a puss cake today and go out and do some tractor work moving boulders.

    I did buy the CZ Shadow 2 Compact yesterday. Then I sold a Remington 700 .243 to an old co-worker I had. He was looking for a good starter gun for his son. Well I had just the weapon for him. I remember harvesting my first deer with this .243 at 12. This should be a good weapon for him. Been in our family for 40 years.

    Last night I received a text from one of the teammates I had. He came off the street with no power generation experience, completed a 5 year apprenticeship, and just was offered a promotion. So proud of him.

    Had another great teammate that I pushed out the door contact me this week as well. He is rocking it up in Oregon as a hydroelectric power station operator. Smart kid and my old company didn't deserve him nor do anything to keep him. Proud of that one as well.

    You rock, Chris! If only more guys like you shared their wisdom to help others succeed. A rare breed. I remember my days walking pipe in refineries - just one of many jobs when I was caterwauling during the younger years. If I'd come across someone willing to show me more of the ropes, I'd probably be an operator or something along those lines. Then again, who knows if I'd have met my wife and had my son who turned 6 yesterday? Things do what they do for some reason or another.

    That's the holster I got her.. instead of getting Lena's version of the sig which for the 365 only comes in a 380, she kept my 9mm but I got her the rose holster haha. Compromise.. and now I get a new CCW for myself :p
