Has anyone ever had issues after towing? I towed a 1750 pound trailer in the spring of 2024 and after 20 miles had misfiring. I had my truck looked at by my regular mechanic and a Toyota dealership. No issues could be pinpointed for the issue. My codes were for 4 cylinders but they weren’t bad. I went all summer without issue and never towed. About a month ago I towed a dump trailer that weighed 3400 pounds. I towed it for about 15 miles and didn’t have an issue. The truck sat for 2 days. I started the truck and the check engine light came on and I had 4 new codes. All different cylinders than the first time. I had the Toyota dealer look at it again and now it seems there is an issue with my fuel pump and my fuel index being off. The quote to fix that is around $1600. they seem to feel that it’s likely where my towing issues and codes are coming from. The truck isn’t doing well under load.
What do you all think? Ever heard of this?
    Thank you so much
