    Hello to all,

As a new Tundra owner, I'm asking questions from unbiased owners as yourselves, that the o-manual does not cover as well.

When I'm driving the Tundra and go thru a dip, my truck beeps. Since it happens so fast, I'm not looking at the dash above steering wheel. But, when it dips, are the cameras detecting "an object" as if you were driving slowly into your garage and it starts beeping the closer you get to objects? The lights also engage from orange to red.

Ques: if you happen to drive thru a really steep dip, would the brakes lock up like when you're driving slow abd too close to a car ahead of you? If so, is there a way to change this?

    thanks

My dash cam beeps (activates) if I go through a dip too fast (trying to beat cross traffic into a parking lot, etc). It thinks you've had an accident and starts recording from the previous 15 or 20 seconds. I usually just reach up and deactivate it (the red light will be on). I have had it flash warnings on the dash when driving through a high grass/weeds field, but never slam on brakes, like it does when trying to time traffic and start pulling out too soon (when the bumper of the vehicle crossing hasn't completely passed and I start pulling out).

+1 for the dash cam if you have one. If you don’t, find a priest cause you have some gremlins in there lol

Do you need a subscription for the dashcam to be operable?

I have not read up on the dashcam yet. Can someone well versed in its operability pls provide a few bullet point highlights?

    Thank you very much

The DashCam beeps everytime you hit a bump thinking you hit into something. It will save that video.
