    Team,

I'm working on adding some 17” wheelA/T tires to my tundra. I drive mostly on-road (city), and off-road on weekends and when able. I would love to run Mud Terrain (M/T), look amazing, and awesome off-road, but honestly, it would make more sense to have another wheel set for those occasions I can goof off avoid the massive MPG hit and poor road performance. So, for my use case, as a Daily Driver 90% on road, with limited time off-road until I retire next year I didn't want to get in to either crazy weight, sizes or aggressive tread.

Fundamentally, I'm trying to avoid crazy cutting, welding, grinding, lift kits, re-gear, etc. to fit A/T tires between 33" - 34" that are not so heavy as to massively impact MPG. My assumption is that this covers quite a few of our use cases. I tried to keep things close to 33" on the small side, and under 34.5" on the large end. I filtered out most tires that were close to 32", or over 34.5" for awareness. I did try to bias toward non-E rated tires (if possible) to get better compliance and reduce weight. For price, at about $350+ I'm out, as I can't see spending that much on a Daily Driver (DD).

Below are various sort approaches (Price, Diameter, Weight). If I missed something or have an error - PLEASE - PLEASE - PLEASE shoot me a PM! Once I have a good product I'll just post the link from google docs for folks to use. Please note: If there are/is missing information (other than warranty) its because I couldn't locate it, or wasn't confident in what I found. If there is a missing warranty block (no data) that indicates the tire has no year or mileage warranty specifically implied.

This has saved me so much effort. Thanks!! Would love the Google link or just one with e rated tires. The firestones seem like a pretty great tire for the weight savings with e rated (hauling a camper)

should add pizza cutters . 255/80/17. Big time weight savings

Great recommendation! If anything else is missing specific make/model/size/rating in a PM is appreciated.

I probably won’t sort by specific data, too much work, but once the file is posted you can modify as you desire.

This is awesome! Is there a similar one for 18s?

Unfortunately no. I’m moving to 17s for off road from the OEM 18s so I didn’t build that info in. Figured since I put this together why not share it with the Team

Still working on that! Toyo Open Country A/T II (34"), Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revolver 3 (34"), Maxxi Razr AT (33.5), Goodyear Wrangler Territory MT (34.4"), and Kenda Klever A/T2, and Kenda Klever R/T are on the short list, but I need to do more research.

But I did get the pizza cutters added! I'll update the consolidated list tomorrow
