Auto stop/start system makes some grinding noise during start

    Auto stop/start system does some grinding noise when it restarts back somewhere on driver side at feet level. I wonder if it's something which can be 'fixed' by some sort of lubrication

    Had the same issues couple of times when I release the break at a red light, sounds like a heavy spring release noise when releasing the brakes and the truck starts, can’t reproduce on demand, mostly random. Anybody had the same issues before?

    My 2024 platinum (purchased in March 2024) just started making this noise as well. Typically upon restart from a red light. I am bringing it in tomorrow for a scheduled oil change but will have them look at it (in addition to the overhead rear light being stuck on since button is stuck). Have you had any more issues? Did the dealer tell you anything? My last Tundra lasted 15 years, I am sadly beginning to think that this one wont last very long as I have replaced the rear side bumper panels and the info screen already. Now this... ugh...

    Same here. Stumbled on this thread didn’t know it was an issue, I guess it is. Glad it’s not just me
