I was wondering if anyone is using this unit. I just installed it but it is giving really low voltage output on the RCA's. it gives out around .04v at 30 volume and at MAX (63) it gives around 1.04V. Let me know if you have ran into the same issue.

My TRD Pro is a 2025. The PAC Audio Amp Pro unit only list support for up to 2024 but I think they are the same. It is the AP4-TY14 unit with their speaker wiring harness to wire from the amplifier to the speakers. I was able to measure the output voltage at the RCA out on the Amp Pro unit but do not have anything to compare it to. It seems the output voltage is not linear but more like exponential. At the moment I have problem with my amp not able to tune to the correct voltage. Changing the input sensibility has no affect on the front and rear channels. I wonder if my amp is bad. It is the JL HD900/5. I am using the test tone of 1000 hertz on a usb key to test and tune the amplifier.

My system consist of a CDT wideband system 4b for the front stage, CDT HD62 for the rear doors, JL 10W6v3 in a sub box that sits on the floor between the rear passenger area. The current amp is the JL HD900/5. If my amp is bad I will go with the VX1000/5i then connect them using the optical out from the PAC Amp Pro to the amp.

Any update on this. I just ordered this for my 25 sequoia TRD pro so that is interesting and now I am worried lol. Was it the amp?

I was able to get my system dialed in. Adjusting the minimum sound level will help with the voltage on the rca outputs. My amp is working fine but I am thinking of getting the VX1000/5i so I could see the input if it is clipping or not.

Thanks for the reply !! And that's good to hear! I'll be running the kicker LX1300.7. kinda sad that it doesn't have an optical input as it was just released. But it is what it is. You adjusted the min sound via the software from pac that you can download I presume?

As a side question does the Pac harnesses plug into the amp under the seat or to the back of the factory radio?

The PAC unit plugs in at the head unit. It is quite small and everything will fit under that center tray. You will need APH-TY02, which plugs to the amplifer, to wire the amplifier to the speakers through the factory wiring. I thought about running new wires but it would be a pain and you would have to drill through the structure to get the wires through. This harness makes it easy. Let me know if you have any questions. Yes, the software is easy to use and i downloaded it from the PAC-Audio website.

Would a SMD-DD1 help solve this issue?

That's how I've tuned my past two amps, rather than trying to adjust with voltage.

Another cheaper option is set your amp using this oscilloscope: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07QML4LJL?ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title

$35, works like a champ. Used it for two different systems so far, and soon to use it on a third.

Heres how to use it: https://youtu.be/hQOPP-l3AMo?si=wVIXKRueubUCtOQ6

I plan to test the factory headunit to see where it starts clipping, then tune my amp from there.

If you install the PAC to only use single channel for a new sub, will the rest of the sound still come from the existing JBL amp?

Trying to think of alternatives to needing a crazy amp set up.
