Hi All James here from SWFL area. I had an opportunity to sell my truck last year as it sat while I spent a year out on the road but I couldn't do it.
I recently paid off my 06' I bought a few years ago, when I needed a vehicle with room for materials as I slowly work on renovating my parents house.
I didn't want a huge payment or all kinds of modern gadgets, so I found this V6 SR5 AC with 78K sitting as a recent trade at the local Dodge dealer. I checked the engine and all underneath, everything was in order with an almost complete service history record.
The truck was bought and sold, then traded all right here in our area. I've enjoyed the reliability of this truck as I continue to document it's service history for posterity, as I see no reason to get rid of it.

From pallets of Sod, yards of dirt, lumber, concrete, this little V6 has been all I really needed.
I'm ready to start reinvesting money into this hard working truck as it starts to need new this and that, so I thought I would start with brakes and suspension.

If anyone has a brand of brakes, not sure if there is a TRD upgrade to increase stopping ability when loaded or pulling a trailer, or some other option? Just getting into this, so the forum was my first stop.

For the suspension... I guess a small lift wouldn't hurt, but I am mainly just looking for a better than stock option for a more comfortable ride and maybe adding a leaf to the rear for more support and less squat under heavy load.

Thanks in advance for any info! I will search the feeds, but thought I would throw it all in the intro. I look forward to the discussions. Hope you all have a great week!
