Hello, I have a 2015 Tundra Crewmax SR5 (Gen 2.5) and in need of new rear shocks. I see a number of stock 2024 (Gen 3) shocks up for sale on Facebook Marketplace. Are the newer stock shocks are compatible with the previous generation? Thank you

No. 22+ trucks have coil springs in the rear plus a shock. It’s a completely different assembly and shock valving.

I'll be swapping mine out this spring (couple of months). I have stock 2021 SR5 Sport F/R shocks with 50k on them. Maybe we could work something out.

Thanks for the offer, but I will pass. The standard shocks are relatively inexpensive, and it would be costly to ship.

Rear shocks are pretty cheap. Why go used?
