Hey yall, I’ve got a 2008 Tundra 5.7 L V8 and recently have had some coolant issues. My top coolant line popped off a couple months ago and after reattaching it and refilling the coolant system I haven’t had any problems until today. My coolant line blew again and it looks like the coolant pipe on the top tank is cracked. Any idea on the prognosis here? Seems like I’ll have to replace the top tank but I’m not sure if that’s feasible.

Rockauto sells the tank/shroud assembly for $73. You need to figure out whats causing the line to pop off.
Possibly a problem with the rad cap.

Just replace the entire radiator. It's about a four hour job and there are some good DIY's around here. I had to replace the radiator on my 2008 and it wasn't a bad job at all. Rockauto has the Denso for about $150 and the Nissens for about $100. I'd pick Denso first but I've used both brands at times for different vehicles and both are solid choices.

Hose popping offis one of two things. Either the clamp was too loose or improperly installed or your radiator cap has failed and allowing over pressurization of the system. Excess pressure also explains the cracking happening at the same time.
