I just finished installed a new console cover to match my Katzkins leather seats. Looks good and not too difficult.

I saw that you can buy a console phone charger for relatively cheap ($34). Has anyone installed one and do you like it?

It’s 100 times more expensive as well. I’m a cheap bastard. I’m curious if the $34 one is any good.

If you have an iphone the other one sucks. The camera bump keeps it from charging. I am cheap too but look around maybe you can find the other one cheaper.........

In addition to the choice lerbud1 suggested, it has the magsafe magnet to keep your device in place and charging. I had both and the non-magsafe charger while it did charge, everytime i hit a bump or whatever, my device would move and not be charging anymore.

Well me being cheap I decided to buy the eBay console charger. The seller offered a price of $34 and had free returns if it did not work. Also the seller had a 99% free back with over 34k in reviews. When the charger came I plugged it in to test and nothing. I then noticed the polarity on the connectors was reversed. Put it back in the box and printed the return label. I messaged the seller and he said I could keep it and would send out a replacement and I accepted. I figured what are the chances the second one would have reverse polarity. The second one can and it also had reverse polarity. I decided to remove the pins and position them correctly and the charger worked. I did the same on the first one that was sent and it works as well. I connected the charger to a battery and let it charge my IPhone 13 Pro Max for a couple of hours and no issues so I when ahead and installed it. I like the button changes colour to let you know if the phone is changing and when it’s done

    Looks pretty decent.
Does it charge the phone fast?

Yup, it’s pretty quick. I just hope it doesn’t overheat the phone.

Center console cover looks great - did you install with adhesive or staples?
