24 Platinum 10 Speed shuddering issues

Glad I found this site! I’ve been dealing with my local Toyota dealership for nearly a year on the shuddering issues I noticed the day I drove it off the lot.
At first I thought it felt like warped rotors……took it in to find out what was going on and they told me I must have gotten the brakes hot!!! I cried BS because I was only about 2 miles from the dealership when I noticed it the first day! When I picked it up 5 hours later they told me they had to turn the rotors, when I asked how much they took off I was told about .00015”!! One and a half thousands would NOT be noticeable….. not making space shuttle parts!
After at least 6 visits to the service department and nearly 3 weeks total in the shop, they replaced the rear differential and tried to convince me they fixed it….. until I drove off the lot and it was just as bad!! Got the head of service for all of Toyota involved. A few weeks ago I got a call from this guy representing Toyota who told me it was just an inherent thing with the 10 speed transmission with the twin turbo V6! After driving two other similar trucks and not noticing the shuddering I decided to dig deeper and found this forum.
THANK YOU to a number of contributors for confirming my suspicions! I’m taking my finding back to the dealership along with screenshots from this forum!!

Thanks! Spent 3 years in NC back in the 70’s!! Have been back a few times since but no family there anymore….

 

Check the math on that. Agree it would probably not be noticeable whether it’s thousandths or ten-thousandths though
