    2007 Double Cab 4x4 Limited 5.7
Hello. This is my first time posting on the Tundra forum. I came from a long line of Dodge and Ram trucks (Half ton 2wd, 3/4 ton 4wd, etc.). I have benefitted from reading posts of others so I say thank you to the contributors. I bought a 2007 Tundra Double Cab Limited 4x4 with the 5.7 about eight months ago. It had 130,000 (less than 10,000 miles a year driven by a retired eighty year old insurance agent who had it before his kids took the keys...it has dents and scratches) and I gave $13.000 for it. Engine is quiet, transmissions shifts smooth as silk, and it does not leak a drop of anything. Changed oil twice with Castrol 5w30 full synthetic and Fram 15,000 mile filter and ready to hit it a third time with 140,000 now. About six months ago, did a drain and fill of about a gallon of trans fluid and topped off with with Castrol universal trans fluid and Lucas transmission treatment. Replaced PCV with OEM PCV and brakes pads and rotors front and rear with Detroit Axle cross drilled and slotted ceramic brakes about five months ago. They work great. Just replaced engine belt with Gates belt, Dayco idler pulley, Toyota 6mm allen tensioner bolt, and Dayco tensioner based off of information form this forum. I am getting used to the truck as it is growing on me. Replaced the starter and now I will have to replace the fuel pump as it is doing the shutter thing on acceleration and sometimes hard to start. Overall great truck so far.

    Sounds like a nice Tundra!

Have had an awesome experience with a pre-owned 07 as well . Actually got with similar mileage too.
