Seat belt alarm?

Had an incident with the seat belt alarm going off when I'm driving down the road with the seat belt plugged in. Very annoying!! Had to unplug and push it back in multiple times to get it to shut off. That happened 3 or 4 times that day, hasn't happened since. I told the dealer and they checked it out and haven't heard of this before. They couldn't find anything. Has anyone ever had this happen to them? Very curious to what was up with that.

 

Sounds like to me there are a lot of mysteries with the 3rd Gen. Hope I don't regret making that purchase. Just saying.

 

Turn the alarm off... Mine may do it but I'll never know.

If the beep was disabled your red seatbelt indicator would still flash if it was intermittently failing.
