Oh, ya know... Hot tails, 3rd brake light, turn signals and parking lights. Colton took the time out of his day to not only reply to my web inquiry, but also called me to talk through various options, explain them and ask my opinion not try to upsell me just because. You bet if I have needs that he can serve in the future, he'll be my first call!

You will notice a lot of us use him for that exact reason. He actually responds, and then tries to get you the correct product for your needs not just the most expensive. He is an A++ vendor and its sad more aren't like him.

I might have been lurking for a bit prior to joining, and identifying such individuals. A+ indeed!

Took me a while to stop and throw these up.
Between Christmas and New Year's Day, jumped out to Big Bend National Park...fantastic "other world" place.
Keeping the pics Tundra and road-centric for the most part here.

Hey guys, trading in my Tundra in a few days and was wondering if it's worth the effort to swap the Kenwood DMX1057XR head unit back for the stock unit. If so, I'd just sell it to someone here on the forum. I just remember a lot of crap tying into wires by the OBD port and over on the passenger side foot well...I'd probably leave all that in place as is. Along with the Maestro...Should I put it back to stock or just leave the Kenwood? It's been 3-4 years since I installed it and I can't remember everything involved.TIA

I'm guessing that you'll probably not get any more money for the Tundra with the Kenwood, so might as well take it out and make a few dollars.

Be careful, based on what you shared and how they look. Those are not sliders and likely can't hold the weight of the truck.

Again, I'm going off what you posted. If their instructions state differently, don't listen to me. But I'd definitely be cautious the first time you use them like a slider.

Brother. I was trolling hard. These are body mounted side steps, not frame mounted rock sliders. I was trying to provide some comedy for the day.

Hey, that's all good. Just didn't want you to use them as slider with full trust that they would support you and end up in bad shape.

I now enjoy the joke

We just definitely have people on here who would have made that same post believing they were sliders. I just didn't want a truck damage or a life endangered. They do look good! Glad you like them.

Thank you sir. You are very kind & honestly make this a better place. I know there are many who would think these are rock sliders. Ignorance like that will cost thousands in damages no doubt. I had rock sliders on my Tacoma and boy did I use them. I no longer wheel like that so they are completely unnecessary

Anyone going down towards Cedar City the end of March for the Offroad Games? I'm going with the family as a spectator but would be sweet to see other tundy-fanatics there, too - my wife has been binging Matt's Offroad and added it to our spring break hooligans...

Shake it 3x after I'm done, not 2. No idea really, didn't know that wasn't the norm probably need to get it off pavement a bit more.
