Key fob stopped unlocking. Locks fine but does not even try to unlock. First started giving problem months ago but could press remote hard and many times and finally worked. Lots of people suggest actuator but why would it not unlock the rest of the doors after it tried and failed to unlock driver door. Does it have to see driver door unlocked before signal to rest of the doors? Acts like it’s not even receiving unlock signal. Both remotes do exact same thing. Both remotes have brand new batteries.
    Thanks for info.

Does the button in the cab lock and unlock all the doors when your inside ? Some of these rides won't unlock the door with the key when your battery dies, from what I've read.

Yes. Locks fine in cab and from out side. Double turn off key in the lock will unload all doors and key fob has brand new battery. If I stand there long enough with button pressed it will eventually unlock

You can get a new key fob shell and insert your fob circuit board into it. It's probably just your buttons are wore out.

I’ve got two fobs and both do the same thing!

If it were mine I would go to eBay and buy two identical fobs for less than $20 and swap in my circuit boards. It's possible your fob receiver module is flaking out but I doubt it.

I took both fobs apart and just pressed the actual button. I also squirt penetrating fluid around all button switches. Maybe module is going out. Thanks for your help.

I’m not sure what you mean by penetrating fluid but sensitive electronics should be cleaned with something like this.

I apologize. I didn't realize the fob has actual buttons on the circuit board. I'm used to fobs with contacts where swapping the shell can make it work like new again. Just swapping the shell wouldn't work for you.
Does your truck have remote start? If so, does pressing lock 3 times start it?

No remote start. Weird that it locks fine. As soon as you hit lock, it locks. Just doesn’t unlock… just went to get a time frame of how long it takes to unlock while holding button. Unlocked right away from 25 yards away! Hey. This is strange. I had a code pop up yesterday. Keep in mind. Unlock function has been messed up for ever. Yesterday a code with secondary air pump came up. Stuck open I believe. I installed Hewitt bypass maybe 2 years ago. I reset code this morning. Now my unlock is working. That makes no sense to me but I’ll take it!
