Considering that I will probably keep this truck till I die I thought it might be smart to be proactive about storing some spare parts.

My 06 4runner seat started degrading a few years ago and at that time I could not find any of the factory bottom seat cushions available new for sale. I ended up having a seat shop build one. Its ok, but not as good as factory.

With my 2016 Tundra, I want to get ahead of this considering all parts for the truck are still available from Toyota. Thought I might spend a couple hundred now and just keep the part until it is needed, years in the future.

I found this, is this correct? Looks right, but description says "no power"....so is there a different cushion used in manual slider seats vs electric?

Pretty sure you can get that new in 2031 (2021+10). If Gen2 cushion pads are compatible, can get in 2032, too. If you put your spare $200 into investment account now, in 2031 it will be more like $350-450. Meanwhile, you truck can be lost due to others fault and you'll end up with the part that you don't need anymore and it is not commonly wanted on the second hand market.
