Remote start self-installed from 12 volt solutions starts and then stops right away

    4 years probably since 2019 I've had the 12 volt solutions remote start solution installed (I installed it myself and I have been doing this kind of thing for years to my Jeep I also installed the head unit in this Tundra with the help of this group).
    Anyhow the remote starts perfectly runs for less than a minute and then shuts off. Does anyone have idea where it would start looking? The only unusual thing is that it's been way too cold for me to change the oil so I'm a little bit behind on that and it's flashing the please change your oil sign. Other than that before I go looking around for a loose wire or something I was hoping someone might have an idea. Thanks in advance

    I would reach out to the 12 v solutions guys. You may have to go through the module programming process again. Has it worked normally up until now?

    Any blinking of the parking lights after it shut off by itself? Could be error code.

    I had a really strange issue happening with mine a few years back. They were lost as was I. I ended up disconnecting all the wiring from the brain and then reconnecting them all. Whatever the glitch was has been resolved now for 3'ish years. Also happened during the winter.

    No. It just immediately shuts off. It's from 12 volts, not factory, too.

    If unplugging the brain doesn’t work. You may need a replacement.

    Im curious what the fix is for this just in case. I’ve had their system in 2 Toyotas for about 3 years now with no issues. Have you contacted them yet?

    Another thing to consider, as this happened to my compustar unit, is the Tach Sense program. For some unknown reason my compustar unit started to loose or not memorize the Tach Sense program. i would have to repeat the Tach programing after a week or two.. especially when it’s cold out.
    End up replacing the unit and hasn’t happen since. so, i would try to reprogram your Tach Sense on your unit and see if that fixes it. My would try to start, start and then shut down right away. After 3 tries, it gave a Tach Sense Failure error. The unit couldn’t pick up the Tach after start up remotely so it shut the truck down immediately.
