Through a series of unfortunate events and a winch harness back feed part of my wiring harness got fried. I bought a new one and replaced the entire harness. What a pain in the ass! Everything is working fine now. But I get it constant start and stop malfunction warning on the dash. I have replaced a little shitty grounding module that connects to the battery with no luck. I have tried unplugging the battery for 24 hours as well with no luck. I even replaced the battery just in case.
*Does anyone know of anything else to check? Or a wiring diagram for exactly how that thing is wired so I can check to make sure no grounds got burned up. As of now I have a rubber band in a bead attached my steering wheel holding down the back button to get rid of the"Start stop malfunction c dealer immediately" warning light on my dash. Super hero and it makes me hate my life! LOL

So pushing and holding the stop/start button keeps the stop/start off and no warning message?

No, pushing the "back" button on the steering wheel clears The notification for about 30 seconds. So I have a rubber band and bead that permanently hold it down. So stupid.
I have even taken it to two separate dealerships to have them run diagnostics and they say it's all clear there's nothing they can do about it.
I also tried buying one of the bypass modules off of Amazon You just plug in and on the lower left to keeps the start and stop off. That did not work either.
