This whole thread is so dangerous... It's like I swore I would only try weed once and now I'm researching how to do heroin.

So I think i'll order the HD valve body from cruiser parts and pass on the deep pan and plan on keeping the trans cooler pinned open 95% of the time. I'll switch to Dex III and change once a year. I'll plan on slipping under there and unpinning before i travel to colorado for ski trips.

That sound logical? I have a magnuson 2650 with stock pulley with a YotaWerx tune. Do not want to cook my trans so I'll do my best to stay on the stock pulley for now.

Are you out of powertrain warranty? I'm not trying to talk you out of using dex3 as WS type fluid has been used for years. Lots of unconventional things get posted and there are always risks.

I am out of factory warranty and understand there are risks, i do not like thin oils and accept i might screw it up. Sounds logical to me and i'm going to run with it!

Ok. Looks like there will be a few of us testing in "CONUS" how the dex3 does. I'm just waiting on my pan which should arrive next week. That was my thinking on the dex being a higher viscosity than WS type fluid.

Just get a bigger trans cooler  trying to cool a massive brick in the bottom would have marginal results I suspect.

WAT sells a double cooler kit for the LC200s, maybe dual coolers would be a better option. They are just sandwiched together also, so should be easy enough.

Or even triple... if it gets that hot I'm in trouble. But can see it if I'm in the outback or Middle East.

    This just happened.

I can't get either AFR gauge to calibrate, both jump from 4.5-22/13. I have pulled them each 4x, swapped sensors, tried a third sensor in both. Any ideas?

But, isn't that the worst place for airflow? I guess if the fans are on all the time it'd be good? Looks awesome though!

Very common setup on these types of rigs no issues and on race vehicles they have no windshield so that helps. Low pressure area vacuum effect is my guess

whats a good lil larger trans cooler upgrade?
even pinned i still run normal temps no less.
thinking a larger cooler esp after gears would be beneficial esp when traveling with/out the trailer

Man! Not sure what's up. I thought of switching from AEM but my boost/afr gauge has been working well for the past 10 years. Only changed sensor out once. Hope you get it sorted.

And you can make your own for a lot less than genuine cooling.
If your plumbed into the condenser you can run the outlet from condenser to inlet on stand alone cooler then out to transmission for cheap or bypass condenser to stand alone cooler. Some use the Hayden 679 or ant 15-19 row cooler or bigger if it will fit.

Or just bypass the condenser and straight to external cooler. Could be causing excessive temps.

The lower priced kits are hard to find. Ordering from Japan should be here in about 3-4 weeks. But not complete kits.
