Did the same thing in my truck . I got a super cheap unit though so I lost half of my buttons... I did gain the ability to map hold functions though so I could have all the functions it was just not intuitive for me to remember what I set the hold buttons to. So now I only have volume and skip/prev track buttons

 

all I really care about is the volume and skip tracks myself.

4° this morning

 

For what little money I spent, it was worth the gamble. It came with all sorts of features I didn't even know I was getting. My stock stereo has never sounded so good. But I do agree that you're not wrong about investing much stock in Amazon review opinions.

When camping in river corridors everyone is expected to pee in the river to keep the smell of urine off the beaches. The tube method would be useless. A bottle or a walk to the river is what one must do in the wee hours if the bladder is full.

 

Are you sleeping in a RTT or in bed camper on the river, or do you camp along the river as you raft down it?

We camp along the river as we raft down it. Often times I sleep on my raft. If a good storm is brewing then I'll set up a tent and bring my Gatorade bottle in the tent with me.


Edit: the majority of my camping is done riverside these days, so I also realize that my opinion is quite different from most of the community here.

 

Yeah, the tube thing is specifically for a RTT or camper scenario, I think.

Agree and honestly it's a pretty nice solution rather than having to crawl down a ladder for a midnight relief.
