So, I have a 2018 1794 and this only happens when I have a person in the seat. When I have a passenger in the rear passenger seat the door light comes on when I turn left and the dash shows that door is open even though it is not. We have tried undoing the seat belt, slamming the door, removing the door sensor and checking the plug in on the back side of sensor and nothing has worked. What am I missing here? Thoughts?

The door switch that indicates the door is open is a simple one wire circuit and when it's grounded through the body of the truck, the light turns on. The only effect of a passenger in the seat would be that they are leaning on the door and it's enough to cause the light to come on. See if you can duplicate the issue by trying to push the door open from the inside.
