Good afternoon. Looking to get a camper top for my 2002 Tundra SR5 Access Cab. LEER tells me that can't fit a model to that old of Tundra. Really?? Any suggestions on a manufacturer that builds quality campers for older model Tundras? Thanks!

Leer still manufactures the 100R for our trucks, for access cab at least, potentially double cab, at least they were as of the time I bought my 100R last year (used). Snugtop did too, as of last year.

But why in the hell anyone would pay their NEW pricing of $2,500-3,500 is beyond me, especially when there's such a glut of camper shells available used in the $200-800 range on FaceBook Marketplace and similar.

Before you get shopping, do yourself a favor and read reply #17 on this thread.

And if you subscrube to that thread, or we knew the closest major city to you, folks could keep an eye out.

Dang! I had never seen this response. Amazing info. I have GOT to get that camper shell wiring redone, prior owner's installer absolutely butchered my taillight wiring.

Yeah. Don't buy new. I paid $300 for my Leer (with windoors!) on Craigslist. They're out there, you just need to be patient.49D7940D-0890-44B5-8E2B-2B3FF167D88D_1_105_c.jpg

Wow thanks for the pic as I have been looking for a cap. Yours is the first one I've seen with that big of a windoor. Didn't know they made them that big as all I have seen are much smaller.
