I raised the front end of the truck to where the wheels were off the ground to try and source an issue with a creaking/popping noise. I turned the wheels full lock, left and right, wiggled and checked the tie rods and ball joints. I found the creaking noise to be a bushing in the upper control arm on the driver side.

Lowered the truck and went on driving. Driving, I noticed now that the steering was off alignment when previously it was dead center. Anyone come about this issue before? What could cause my steering alignment to be off-centered now? Is something wrong with my steering rack?

Add fuel and washer fluid STAT!

Sorry about the alignment issue. Let anyone else drive it lately? I’d look for a good alignment shop local to take a look.
