Keep Audio Playing When Turning Off Truck?

I recently got a new 2025 Tundra and I'm loving it except for a few minor things most of which I've seen you can fix or disable with the carista app or other methods. One thing that I haven't seen mentioned on the forum yet is the annoying thing where it shuts down the truck electronics immediately when you press the power off button. How I would like to be able to set it up and how my previous truck worked was, turn off the engine, then the electronics didn't stop till a door was opened. Only thing is my previous truck was a key start, not sure if the push start makes this not possible.

First world problem, for sure.

Just shut the truck off, then hit the start button once, with your foot off the brake. The radio will come back on.

To use the window or climate controls, hit the start button a second time (foot off brake).

To shut every thing off, hit the start button a 3rd time (foot off brake).

 

Also, if you shut off the truck while it's still in gear, your radio will stay on for ten minutes or so.

 

Isn't there a configurable setting in the menus on the radio for this? I swear I saw it in there somewhere.

 

I shut the truck off in neutral then shift lever to park. Should work on a 3rd gen too.

 

if you have a hybrid, my tech had recommended to always have the tundra on Ready On. Or else that little startup battery will drain very quickly.

 

I have been wondering the same thing.
Just got my truck 10 days ago and it is really annoying.
