    Hey there all!

I'm Taylor, from Grande Prairie, AB! I just picked up a 2020 MGM Tundra TRD Sport for what I consider to be a pretty decent price in terms of Canadian Pesos. This is my first Tundra although not my first Toyota! I started with a 1993 T100 back in Highschool (Roughly 2006). Currently still have a 2018 4Runner TRD Offroad that sees a bit of Camp use but is primarily the Wifes unit.

When I bought the Tundra about a month ago, it had some parts on it I was not thrilled with but I will tackle those as time goes on. Already knocked out the wheels and tires for a combo I like.

Primary use with this truck will be Overlanding for myself, my Wife, Daughter and our Dog. We took our first shakedown trip this last weekend. Driving from Grande Prairie to Golden, BC via Jasper and Yoho. Spending the night in Golden, then waking up early to drive back into Alberta and go see the Sunrise at Abraham Lake and check out the methane bubbles in the ice. It was a 1560km trip and an absolute blast!

I'll leave some pictures here in my intro, but ultimately I will start a Trip Report thread to track all the trips for this year. Once done, I will link it here.

This was it at the Dealership with those awful 20 inch tires and almost bald KO2s lol.

This is roughly 2 hours into our trip taking a quick stop at Grande Cache Lake. Had to take the opportunity to drive out onto the lake and check out the Ice Fishers. Also this is with the new wheel and tire setup!IMG_3091.HEIC.jpg

This is the 2018 4Runner under camping Duties at Abraham last year.

And because I personally like being able to put a race to the name, I like to assume others do too. So here is me and one of the other hobbies that I like!

If you're ever in the area, shoot me a line! I'm always down to go camping or exploring!

Welcome - great looking MGM. There are others from Alberta lurking in here as well. Be sure to check out the mods thread for ideas on all the tinkering you can do that drains the wallet!
