I had my truck serviced a week ago and prior to that I was experiencing intermittent throttle hesitation during slow acceleration almost would feel as if there was not enough fuel being delivered. After the service the throttle is considerably better, smoother no hesitation more linear feeling. There was no mention of anything other than my oil, tire rotation and inspection being done when I was finished. Could they have re-flashed the ECU or changed the fuel map while it was being serviced and just not include it in the paperwork at the end?
I thought I was being crazy so I have been trying to replicate the slow throttle hesitation and haven't been able to replicate it.

Did you mention this problem to them when you brought it in for service? I would think that if you complained about it they would have noted it on your paperwork. When I bring my truck in for service after talking with the service advisor they give me a copy of the service being performed. Then when the service is done they give me another copy of the same paper but with the service performed. If you mentioned it to them I'd call and just ask what they did to fix it. Good to know in the event it happens again and you're not using the same place to fix it.

I did not mention it when I brought it in, which is why I wonder if i am just imagining it or is it something they have done before like an automatic update or something.

Hmm, not sure then. Not familiar with their protocol so I don't know if they flash something without a complaint or if it's just an update type thing they check for when you go in for service. Maybe someone here knows and will reply.
